Introduction:

In this tutorial, we continue exploring the use of the GripBeats® Desktop App, specifically for combining the use a non-GripBeats® MIDI controller with a GripBeats® controller. The specific MIDI controller used in combination with GripBeats® in this video is an AKAI APC Key 25.

1. How to connect both GripBeats® and a non-GripBeats® device to your PC using the GripBeats® Desktop App.
2. How to map GripBeats®' raw data outputs to various parameters MIDI and Audio effects controls within your DAW (Ableton in this example).
3. How to experiment with different ways of using GripBeats® such as wearing it not only on the wrist but also on the arm or elbow, allowing for new innovative ways of controlling electronic sounds, especially while playing the piano simultaneously.
